Group effort: the 15 hypotheses!



Below are my 15 hypotheses as discussed in class, however I have made a couple of subtractions and additions due to their appropriateness!

MARIA AGNESI

1. Agnesi lived her life battling the norms of convention.
2. Agnesi believed that the most complicated forms began with the simplest mathematical formulas. 
3. Agnesi's life was part of a mathematical system of opposing differential and integral calculus.
4. Agnesi believed that x-axis to be the vertical axis whilst the y-axis was the horizontal axis. 
5. Agnesi believed that numbers were the basis for deeper symbolic meaning. 


ISAAC NEWTON 

1. Isaac Newton believed that every reaction has an equal and opposite reaction. 
2. If it wasn't for apples, we would still be floating in space.
3. Newton believed that the sun holds the power to the universe.
4. Every object has its own force of attraction.
5. Humans will deconstruct the earth through the over development of society.



SIGMUND FREUD


1. The mind is a prison. 
2. Freud believed in the power of smoking to improve concentration and thus increase the capacity to work. 
3. Freud believed in the use of cocaine to heal physical and mental illness. 
4. Freud believed he was an artificial construct.

5. The mind has another level when in hypnosis.
